Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

How to Cancel Contract Without Charge

Small business has contract with waste disposal company that keeps increasing rates. The 3 yr. contract states that rates can be increased without cutomer's consent. Want to cancel contract, but it also states in order to cancel, one must pay the amount equal to 6 months of service ($3,000). Is there any way to reduce/eliminate cancellation charge?
