House deed

A house deed has two peoples names on it. The two people are not married. They have no children. After one person dies, can a lean be put on the property because of the deceased's debt?

Maybe. Assuming you are tenants in Common there are no inheritance rights. The estate of the deceased can still be sued for unpaid debts and his assets attached.
