Could I be prosecuted for possesion of marajuana if I am a rastafarrian, and it is part of my religion to soke marajuana

Yes you could be prosecuted....the reason behind why you could be prosecuted is simply that you have a right to practice your religion, however there are limits to that practice.

Yes. Religion is protected by the first amendment, but a practice that calls for an illegal activity is not... otherwise every serial killer would claim that their belief system requires human sacrifice.
