A lawyer would need a lot more information to fully answer your question. IF you were sentenced, then you likely had a trial or changed your plea. You have post conviction rights, but the time frame for invoking those rights (whether a notice of appeal, motion to revise and revoke your plea, or a motion for reconsideration of your sentence) is very short.
