Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My ex and I are fighting about whether to medicate our son for adhd or not. He has been medicated but had an adverse reaction this summer. I want him in a school that can help him and work with him without meds and his dad is saying no and forcing me to keep him in public school. My son is starting to have problems and all my ex keeps saying is - put him on meds. There are also so many other issues with problems with the step mother - (driving drunk with kids in the car, hitting her own children across the face, yelling and swearing all the time) and my son is reacting to this stuff in a very negative manner. I wouldn't send my child to a daycare that behaved like this... do I have any ability to stop this?

This case apparently calls for a neutral review. You should consider seeking a modification action and the appointment of a guardian ad litem.

Yes, there are some very serious issues in your case-I would also suggest seeking a modification complaint and the appointment of a GAL.

If you feel strongly about this, then file for modification and seek the court's involvement.
