Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

does a parent have the right to visitation while incarcerated

I have custody of my 8 year old son. His father has visitation every other weekend. Recently, his father was incarcerated. Do I have the right to prevent his stepmother from bringing my son to jail to visit with his father? And if so, how do I obtain such an order?

Also does his stepmother still have the right to visit with my son?

You have to obey the court orders. If the court orders allow stepmother visitation, then she gets visitation. If not, then you don't have to let her visit or transport the child
