Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

When is property considered abandoned? Divorce listed certain items ex would get. Wife made reasonable attempts to get him the stuff his last email communication on the subject was over 1.5 years ago saying he would let her know when. There had been no mention of this until yesterday when he requested one of the items. Is he still entitled to the items. She is not a storage facility and did make attempts to get him the stuff.

There is no hard and fast rule as to when it s abandoned unless it states such under the divorce. However since there has been no communication on the subject in the 1.5 years then I would say that the wife is now the legal owner of the property unless the husband wants to pay storage for the duration.
