Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I recently found out my ex was doing drugs during his visits with my boys. We have a court order for him to see them, I am not sending them there because of what I found out. Can I be held in contempt and what could happen?

You should go to the court and file a Complaint for Modification, Motion for Temporary Orders and Short Order of Notice. This will allow you to modify the visitation order and avoid being in contempt.

Retain an attorney to file a complaint for modification of the visitation order to avoid your being charged with contempt of the present order. Good Luck!
