Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

my sister died last month and drew up a new will 2 weeks before she died - we were amazed to learn her new husband was the sole beneficiary, i do not intend to contest, however, at one point she promised to bequeath her sisters something in the will. Have we a right to see the will?

You have no right to see the will before it is filed in court. Once her estate is filed it is a public record and you can see it.

The Will must be filed in the probate court where your sister lived. Once filed you can get a copy of it.
