Break up and Personal Property

My girlfriend and i broke up approx 2 months ago. She is now trying to take back gifts she gave during the course of our 2 year relationship.

we were not married, nor did we enter into any sort of agreement on who would take what in the event of a breakup. She has proof of purchase of a bed, computer, clothes, etc...

what i'm trying to determine is if she can legally take back these items. They were all gifted to me during the course of our relationship. Does having receipts of purchase entitle her to ownership? do i have any legal recourse to keep these items?

The short answer is NO.

Unless there is some legally condition wherein the gifts were conditional, she lost rights of recovery.

That she has receipts merely show initial purchase, but does not show the course of the distribution of the items.

Unless there is something I do not know, the person who gets the gifts is their owner.

No Gifts bound under any of the common Law of contracts generally, hence not enforceable specifically in the Indian Court of Law, or have no idea about English, or U.S, or Australia, or Newszealand, or Canada Rule of Law at present running.

Gifts cannot be claimed under contract Laws 1872 of India, hence its unenforceable in the Court of Law in India.
