Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

Contract Labor in MA

Hi,

I want to find out if an Employee working in the State of MA , governed by the laws of MA , is bound by any contract to work with a particular employee for a period of time ?

Do I have the freedom to leave an employee no matter what contract I have signed ?

Waiting for a Reply.

Thanks & Regrds,

As with many things, it depends... You can always leave an employer, but you may be liable for damages under the contract if the contract is enforceable (some are, some aren't, it all depends on the circumstances and the wording...)
