Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

My daughters employer requires her to work for free for 1-2 hours per night. She tends bar and he only pays while bar is open, doesn't pay for the 1-2 hours clean up after bar is closed. Is this legal?

No, it is not legal. Does she punch a clock, so that she will be able to show when she came in and out? Regardless, the employer cannot do this (assuming she is not a salaried employee).
