Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

My job said it was ok to change my hours from (7:00am to 4:30pm ) to (8:45to 4:30) 3 days a week so my wife can get her job. Because of that change my wife started her job. Now I found out my work plans on terminating me when they find a replacement for me.I have been working these hours for 3 weeks now and my wife cant quit her job. Are they legally able to do this>

The answer likely depends on the specific terms of your employment, any applicable policies/procedures, and a more detailed description of the surrounding circumstances. What reason (if any) did the employer give for the termination?

Subject to further discussion about this, however, you may well have claims here, which is probably worth discussing with an attorney at the very least. If you would like to do so, please feel free to contact me directly without obligation to you. If not, best of luck. CJT
