Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

missed paychecks

i have not recieve a check from my placeof employment in two weeks. i recently

started and recieved my frist paycheck but none thereafter.the issue was brought up to my manager and is suppossidly being taken care of.however i have been told by my professors that there is a law requiring a

company to issue a check within twenty-four hours? what are the laws, if any reguarding skipped employment checks?

Employers usually withhold 2 weeks pay when you start working at a new company, maybe this is what has happened in your case.
