Ask the management to put a noise detector in your apartment to see if you make noise beyond normal use. Put a denial of any excessive noise in writing to the management company.

State that you have been told the prior tenant was harrassed by this tenant and moved. Ask that they investigate as they deem appropriate and get back to you with a report which is substantiated by independent proof, meaning someone other than the complaining tenant.
