I got married and need to change the name on the deed

Unless you are making the deed in the name of both you and your spouse, you are not required to change the name on the deed.

If you own the property with your spouse as tenants in common, then you might want to record a deed from the both of your as tenants in common to you now as tenants by the entirety.
