Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts

License Suspension

March 11th 2008, my license was suspended for 45 days. 4/24/08 is the 45th day, I called the RMV to verify that I can reinstate it. They had no records of it being suspended, and they said the court dropped the ball and did not send in the paperwork.

Rmv then said, the 45 days does not start until they receive that paperwork. Well I haven't been driving for 45 days, and I've been getting rides to and from work.

What are my options now?!!?!?

Re: License Suspension

It is true that according to the RMV, the license suspension doesn't start until they get the paperwork. You should consult with an attorney and try to remedy the situation. It will take a little legwork, but I have been successful in the past with similar issues.
