Power of Attorney & responsibility of debt

If you take full financial power of attorney of someone, does their debt become your own?

Generally, some one acting as an attorney in fact (under a power of attorney) is not responsible for the debts of those persons whom they are acting as an attorney in fact. This assumes you have disclosed you are acting as an attorney in fact when entering into agreements for the Debtor and you are acting within the scope of your powers. More simply put Generally there is no personal liability for a debtors debt when you are acting as their attorney in fact.
