Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Alimony

Is there a (free or website calculator)software program that would estimate your potential alimony obligation? Would such an ''objective'' calculation hold up in Court (Oakland County; Judge Ms.P) and be acceptable? For fee?

Thank you,

Re: Alimony

There is an alimony prognosticator which can be used to "estimate" alimony.

There are a number of factors that the court will consider in deciding whether to grant spousal support including: length of marriage, age of parites, health of parties, income and education and several other factors.

There is different types of alimony including alimony in gross.

There is no objective alimony calculation. It is very subjective.
