Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

subject

If I retire with a pension of 2,600.00 a month and I get 1,600.00 from social security. Why is it that Chrysler has the right to deduct the 1,600.00 from my 2,600.00 and only paying me 1,000.00 a month for my thirty years of work. I worked thirty years for my pention and payed into social security I think I should get them both.

Thank You

Re: subject

That is the way your union bargained for your rights. You only get the deal they bargained for. You must remember, that there is no inherent right to a pension. It is only what is worked out between the employer and the employee and the union was your exclusive bargaining agent. However, think of it like this.......if it was not for the unions, you'd be working for the amounts received by the Mexicans who are taking away our jobs. William S. Stern 248-353-9400
