Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

order to produce

A credit card debt I have has received a judgement and now they have subpoena me to show & produce, they want all bank account numbers titles to cars deeds and such, they have contacted me and said if I furnish this info to them they will cancel the court date,I have offered to make monthly payments but they want this stuff first,

My question is should I give them this or go to court, will the judge determine what information they should have or do they get it all either way?

Thanks

Tina

Re: order to produce

In order to not be in contempt of court and not produce the documents they have requested, you would need to file a motion to quash or set aside the subpoena, giving specific reasons for not submitting the information. The creditor is probably entitled to the info requested.

Good luck.
