What exactly is the pre-trial for? This typically is to set dates for the course of the rest of the case. You could ask for time for additional discovery time and try to work something out with the creditor. Possibly, you could ask for any type of documents you want them to provide to verify the debt. You may get another 60-90 days to try and work something out. If you would like further assistance, visit www.aldrichlegalservices.com, and give us a call.
