Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Breaking & Entering and Vandalism

my boyfriend is being accused of breaking into a car at school when he didnt and is being told that he stole some speakers when he didnt and nothing was taken out of the vehicle. What is the punishment he could face with the cops trying to charge him with breaking and entering and vandalism. Is it possible without witnesses? Can he have charges pressed against him if he didnt do it and there are no witnesses or proof of the incident.

It is not possible to properly answer your questions with the very limited amount of information that you provided. If your boyfriend is actually charged with these crimes, he could be facing time in prison. If he didn't do anything wrong, he should not be sentenced to anything. Instead, he should hire a tough, experienced defense attorney to protect him. Fight these charges.

It's a 5 year felony. He didn't do it? Truly ruly?

Since he hasn't been charged, he should not talk to anyone except a lawyer.
