Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

can you get a felony removed if it was 30 years ago and you have not had any criminal activity since it was supposed be wiped of my record but i justed look and its still there i was told that i couldnt buy a hand gun or get a ccw because i have a felony is that true if it is i dont think thats right i was a stupid kid do i have to pay for that tell i die thank you doug

If you have NO other misdemeanor or felony conviction ever, anywhere (including traffic-related misdemeanors like driving without your license), then you appear to be eligible to go back to the court you were convicted in and petitioning for expungment. But you didn't say what felony you were convicted of and there are some crimes that are non-expungable (including all traffic offenses).
