Child support adjustments after ex-wife is laid off

We have shared custody of our one son. Currently my child support is based on my ex-wife and I making almost the same salary. She is losing her job next month and I am wondering if she can adjust the monthly support based on her new zero income. It has not beed adjusted in over two years.

Yes. It can be readjusted based upon her new lack of income. However, it will not make as big of a difference as you think. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
