Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am going to be getting a divorce and I am not sure if I need a lawyer or not. He is a sex offender and has already talked to a lawyer and was told he would only have supervised visits with our 11 yr. old daughter and I need to pick the supervisors. I am not to concerned about anything else. I would like to know if I am able to get any of the inheritance he is most likely going to get from his parents someday. We were married 23 yrs. Our accets might be worth $20,000 to $30,000 and we will split the household things up on our own with no problems. He has a semi truck and 2 trailers worth maybe $18,000. Would he have to give me any of what they r worth?

I strongly recommend that you hire an experienced family law attorney to help fight for you. It would be foolish to try to do this on your own.
