Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Protection order

I am currently going thru a divorce. A week before the J.O.D was signed I found out my X had recieved a promotion and raise at work. My lawyer immediatly requsted the information regarding how much money he is now making and when the promotion happened etc. My X filed a motion to put a personal protection order on that information and is claiming that I am harrassing him. This information is needed for child/spousal support and division of the household bills(we are still living in the same house because he will not buy me out and the house is not selling because of the bad market.) My question is can he really do this? And what are the chances that the judge will allow this to go thru?

Re: Protection order

It is unfair to your lawyer for you to be on the internet asking strangers for legal advice. Ask your lawyer for information that you want. If you don't trust your lawyer, get a new attorney. Nobody will have a better picture of your case that your lawyer. Or at least that's the way it should play out.
