Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Revoke POA & Get money

My 2 sisters & I signed a Power of Attorney (POA) to our dad. We recently found out that he had been keeping our share of rental income.

1. We want to revoke our POA. Is there a standard form out there we can use? My dad, who's a lawyer himself, wrote the POA.

2. What legal measures can we do to make him pay what he owes us (~$53k @)?

Thank you.

Re: Revoke POA & Get money

If you feel that you have been cheated out of money or have been deceived, you should retain an attorney to revoke your power of attorney. Your new attorney can also attempt to recover your rental income from your father. Your new attorney may also offer other suggestions about how to deal with your father.
