Seperate Maintenance Statute

Michigan has a Seperate Maintenance Statute, but I do not know what this is or what it entails. Could you please fill me in on this subject? Thank you for your time.

Re: Seperate Maintenance Statute

Greetings; Separate maintenance is much like a divorce. It divides property and and give all the relief that a divorce can, except you are still married when it is finished. Few people find this statute worth the effort. It costs just as much as a divorce to handle. Thanks, Atty. Trichler; www.trichler.com
