Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Time to give items in divorce settlement, discription

Questions relating to my divorce:

In out divorce settlement my ex-husband was allowed to take ''any and all tools''

He took some on several occations right when the divorce was final. The divorce was final over a year ago now he is asking for the rest of his tools.

Isnt it to late, I gave him many opportunities, a year has passed.. can he take them because it was in the final divorce papers.???

what constitutes a tool?? he thinks he should have the ladders, tool box????

He left a trailer(small one you pull behind a car) at my sisters house over 3 years ago, now he wants that... saying it was a personal item.... didnt he abandon it..... He says he has the title, its in his name. Although it never came up in the divorce, its really owned by both of us.

thank you for your input..

Re: Time to give items in divorce settlement, discription

If he comes to get the items and the police are called and he shows them the judgment, the question is will the police allow him to take the items? Is it worth going back to court over the issues. Probably not. William S. Stern 248-353-9400
