This depends upon your goals- if you would like to keep the house, it is possible you could redeem the property yourself, and pursue the owner for the difference between that amount and the land contract amount. If you would like to get out of the contract, you will need some assistance in getting out of the property without being held liable to the land contract. If you would like some further assistance to protect yourself in this matter, visit www.aldrichlegalservices, and give me a call.
