Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

Writing a lease allowing weekly, biweekly pmts

Prospective tenant wants to pay weekly in order to budget better. Supposedly okay with a one year lease. What provision can be written into the lease such that a missed weekly payment is as detrimental as a missed monthly payment, while maintaining a one year lease. Want to ensure that weekly payments are not construed as partial pmts. Is there anything else I should be concerned about with this scenario?

I'm not sure why you would want to punish a tenant who wants to pay weekly by imposing such harsh requirements. If you charge rent by the month and would charge any other tenant by the month, then whether she pays the monthly rent amount four times a month ($x divided by 4) or once a month should not matter so long as the rent is paid on the day of the month you agree on.
