Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

Having A Mortgage Lien Removed

My husband's ex put a mortgage lien on the house after their divorce for monies owed to her. He has refinanced the house and paid her in full for what was owed but neither she nor her attorney have not removed the mortgage. We have called her lawyer about having it removed but he has done nothing ... what is my husband's recourse in this matter?

quiet and slander of title. The matter should resolve quickly once a lawsuit is filed contact a lawyer it does not sound like a complicated case.
