Did not sign a lease but name is included on it.

Am I still bound to a lease if I have not signed, or read it and my name is mentioned in it...

Re: Did not sign a lease but name is included on it.

Not reading a written lease will not alone not excuse you from performance under the lease. However, if your signature does not appear on the document to be enforced, it might be argued that you never agreed to be bound by the terms. However, I am unable to give you any further advice without reviewing the document in question. If you require further assistance, please contact me at www.lawgreg.com
