Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Michigan

18 year old and 15 year old voluntary envolvement

what if an 18 year old and a 15 year old are in a relationship and are sexualy active, what could happen? Also what if the parents say it ok? Who can press charges? Who in it all could go to jail?

While I personally do not believe that the situation that you described should necessarily be criminal, I believe that if you get an overzealeous prosecutor, you could be charged with what was known as statutory rape and now is Criminal Sexual conduct. A conviction would put you on the sexual registry. The parental consent is a dangerous defense because the parents could wind up being charged with contributing to the deliquincy of a minor or worst.
