Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
Probable cause to run plates
Pulled over @2:40 AM. Was asked if my license was expired(it was for approx 70 days).no reason given on pulling me over except that the owner of the cars drivers license was expired,(which happen to be me)could of been anyone driving my car. does that give them probable cause for pulling me over?Do they have the right to even run my plates with no wrongdoing? thanks
