There is no normal charge. You should look to the nature of the job. Is this a large estate? Is there a substantial amount of work to do. What is involved? The fee taken can very from $75.00/hr. to $200/hr. perhaps more. It of course is subject to court approval. If you feel the estate is being overcharged for services, and you are an heir or interested party, you could object to the fees. For more info. please contact my office at (248)851-3171.
