Revocable Trust

Is it legal to influence older people to include a person who does favors into their recocable trust?

I see people who do this-befriend an elderly person and then receive later financial favors for their help for the elderly. I personally do not approve but is it legal?

Such "favors" are legal subject to a challenge based upon fraud, duress, or undue influence.
