Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My wife's father died over 2 years ago. To our knowledge, my wife's step-mother has never executed the will, at least it wass never done publicly in our presence. My father-in-law had told my wife a few years before his death that she was to be the executor, but she never recieved a copy of the will. Does she have the right to demand to see the will?
