Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

Being sued for $5600 in medical bills and possible another $6000 to follow. These are not one one bill but many smaller bills all combined into one. Is this a situation where having a lawyer would be a great idea or should we try and knock down the payments and pay them outright (which is possible for the first one but not possible with the second one)? Court date is soon... any thoughts?

You may wish to have assistance. My experience is that debtors are less effective in negotiating on their own behalf, and cannot credibly threaten BKY as an Atty can.

Call or email for a free consultation. I have done this for many clients over the last few years, and have achieved substantial discounts without BKY or judgments being entered.
