minor consumption

My question is if a person who is 18 recieves a ticket for a minor consumption, does it come off his/her record when he/she turns 21?

If it is driving related, it will go on the "driving record." Even if it isn't, it still may. See Minnesota Statutes Sections 171.173, 260B.198, 340A.503. If the court notified the "Department of Public Safety" (drivers licenses dept.) of a minor consumption conviction, then it would trigger a drivers-license suspension. There is not enough information here to give a more specific answer. You could go get you driving record for under $10 to see. Your court record is normally permanent.
