I am afraid it is much more complicated than that. THe minimum cancellation period for violation of a B card is 1 year. A B card is issues when a person has had serial DWI offenses. It precludes that person from consuming alcohol so long as they hold a Minnesota driver's license. If there is probable cause to believe the person has consumed alcohol, the Department of Public Safety cancels the license.

The B card holder may chalenge the evidence of the violation by filing a Petition for Judicial review within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
