Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Hi, i have 2 questions; I Full Sole Legal Physical Custody of my son in the state of MN, his other parent has visiting rights, my question is; there is a parent teacher conference at my child's school and the "other" parent has apparently told the school that he needs to have ALL information about ALL school activities and our son's progress etc.. the school informed me that they will call the other parent and inform him about our meeting (they know i have Full custody) i said if the other parent comes (only has visit rights) i will not be able to come or want to. What is my Legal right here??? im the custodial parent however that dont seam to mean anything here in Minnesota!

Also i would like to know any opinion on Weeknight visits for a 5 yr old; the other parent is also a Meth, heroin, etc etc addict for over 35 yrs, never completed anything, etc etc.. (bias GAL sorry) no routines, no parental skills what so ever, (been clean as we know? 8mths) now gets ALL weekend every-other weekend visits, and Weekday from 3-7Pm, my son never gets dinner, never gets his asthma medication, and usually falls a sleep, when i have to pick him up one 1hr from our home,

hungry and not able to sleep until 11-11.30pm.. is this healthy? the court dont seam to care about the child more so that the other parent gets the visit! it takes 4days to get back to routine, affects

my son greatly..

is the system not set up to care and make sure our children are safe and correctly taken care of?

A parent has a right to educational, medical and other important information whether they have physical custody or legal custody under law.

You may set up a separate conference if the school will accommodate it. They usually will.
