Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Amended motion

I recently asked a previous question on how to notify the other party of a hearing date that was changed for parenting time.

I received an answer that I needed to send an Amended Motion.

How do I do that? Do I send the same form I sent out in the first place? Do I need to re-submit my Notice of Motion and Motion?

Can I send a Notorized Letter and certified mail to the other party?

I just want to make sure I am doing this right!

I don't have much time. My new court date is in 3 weeks.

Thanks!

Re: Amended motion

The first documents that you submitted to the Court contained something called a "Notice of Motion and Motion." You should simply send the same document with the new date and new signatures, changing the title of the document to "Amended Notice of Motion and Motion."
