Re: Signing away parental rights

Under certain circumstances, the answer is "no" and "no." Is he relinquishing his parental rights so that the child may be adopted by someone else? If so, he may be relieved from his obligation to pay support. For more info, please contact my office at (248)851-3171.

Re: Signing away parental rights

If he signs away parental rights, he has no visitation rights but he also does not have any financial responsibility. The child could then be adopted by another man. William S. Stern 248-353-9400

Re: Signing away parental rights

Greetings; Your questions can not be answered because he can not sign away his rights....even if he and his girlfriend agree. His rights can only be terminated in two ways. Through a neglect hearing or when the child is adopted by the mother's new husband. I hope this clears up your understanding. You may visit my web site for further information on this subject. www.trichler.com. Many thanks, atty. Trichler
