Does the wife of my ex-husband have legal rights to attend doctors appointments for my children and be involved in medical decisions if their mother does not approve?

There is nothing that prevents a parent from allowing another, particularly a new spouse, from attending a medical appointment with them.

If you have a valid reason to object to tat person's presence, such as they are a danger to the children, you may file a Motion to prevent it from occurring. However, you should have a valid reason and not do so simply because they are not a parent. A step-parent is also considered a significant person in the life of the children.

Choose your battles wisely.
