Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

i have a question on non compete agreement.i Work for an employee which has principal place of business at Boston MA. prior to signing the agreement it was California based. How ever the address change for employer and prime location was never got changed in non compete agreement. Also the governance law indicates agreement constructed in accordance with California law.

- My question is :

I work for employees client in Minneapolis MN. Have an offer from client of employer. If i join client can the non compete class enforceable and if so which state law will be used.

2. This year the employee got acquired by another company with so is the non compete valid still?.

3. As mentioned above the address and prime locations were wrong will this nullify non compete?.

You should have an experienced Business Attorney review the document in its entirety and interview you regarding all of the facts and context of the employer's business and the specific job offer.

Non-competes ARE enforced in MN , but VOID under California law, so this one appears to be all or nothing.

I am available for phone/ email consultation in Eden Prairie at no charge for initial conference.
