Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

Can I be held liable for a lease agreement I believe to be misrepresented? I never received copy of the agreement, took possession of the unit, keys, and never received notice of rent due or overdue, either in writing or phone, until I received notice of full-payment 13 months after said lease was signed and mailed by Apartment complex without my consent.
