Re: Liens on Real Estate

Any Judgement against you becomes a lien against real estate for any real estate located in the county where the Judgement is filed. The lien cannot be foreclosed but would have to be satisfied if you hope to refinance the property or sell it.

You may check the Judgements in the county where any property is located.
