Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

Will/estate

My sisters & I just found out that our biological father was killed in a car crash back on Feb. 6th. He was not married and we are his only children. However, we all live in Minnesota, he lived in Nevada. He had lived with a woman for 10yrs. - but never married. In his Will, he did not include any of us, but did not exclude any of us by name either. We are wondering what our rights/responsibilities are as his only children for his assets & estate holdings. What do we need to do?

Re: Will/estate

Iwould expect your dad's estate to be governed by Nevada law. You should call an attorney out there. You could call the Clerk of Court in the county in which he lived to see if a case has already been filed.
